The Invest in Others Community Leadership Awards was established by the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation to support the philanthropic and volunteer activities of financial advisors in their local community. Financial advisors may be nominated for one of the following five awards:
- Community Service Award
- Global Community Award
- Mentoring Excellence Award
- Volunteer Team Award
- Volunteer of the Year Award
Nominations are evaluated based on an advisor or advisor team’s level of involvement in an organization, their personal contributions, and the lasting impact of their efforts in their local community. Three finalists are selected in each of the five categories with one honoree being chosen for each award. Finalists receive a $5,000 donation to their charity and honorees receive a $20,000 donation to their charity.
The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation is pleased to partner with InvestmentNews to support the annual Invest in Others Community Leadership Awards Dinner in September. This event celebrates these award honorees and finalists from across the nation who are recognized for actively volunteering to improve communities and make a difference in the lives of others. InvestmentNews will provide extensive coverage of advisors being honored.
