Founder & CEO Jim Maher created Archford Angels in 2016 to encourage employees to get involved in their community. He gives each team member $1,000 to donate to a charity of their choice and participate in an Angels project. A friendly competition runs throughout the year to determine which 3 projects ranked highest in sustainability, impact and personal growth. Three projects are awarded grants of $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000.
The initial Archford Angels project began with $15,000 and 15 Angels. By the end of 2018 it had resulted in over $410,000 in donations to the selected charities and over 900 service hours!
