NEW YORK, NY (March 31, 2009) – Nominations are now being accepted for the third annual Community Leadership Awards, a program which recognizes and celebrates financial advisors for their leadership and contributions to their communities.
The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation will make a $10,000 donation to each honoree’s charity of choice. Advisors will be honored at a dinner on September 30, 2009 in New York City.
“The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation and InvestmentNews established the Community Leadership Awards to honor these financial advisors and their unwavering commitment to the well-being of their community. We are proud to support and acknowledge their exemplary leadership and humanitarian efforts,” said Kandis Bates, president of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation.
“Financial advisors are now more than ever devoted to strengthening and improving their communities. The Community Leadership Awards affords both InvestmentNews and the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation the opportunity to honor the contributions of these individuals and inspire others to engage in the spirit of philanthropy,” said Suzanne Siracuse, publisher of InvestmentNews.
