Carl Katerndahl served as an Invest in Others Board Member from January 2015 through January 2020.
Carl Katerndahl retired from Nuveen as Head of US Advisory Services in 2019. He previously served as head of Global Retail Distribution and, prior to that, led institutional, global and defined contribution investment-only (DCIO) efforts. Before joining Nuveen, he was a partner at NWQ Investment Management and a founder of The Forward Funds. Carl also held portfolio management and advisory roles at leading wire houses, including Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
Carl is a committee member of the Investment Company Institute and a board member of the Money Management Institute. He also serves on the charitable board of Invest In Others and St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco. Carl earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from University of the Pacific.
