Award finalists and winners will receive a donation of up to $25,000 from Invest in Others to their designated charity.

Advisor Nominations

If you’re nominating an advisor, you will be asked to provide the following information in order to provide us with a full picture of the nominee’s charitable contributions. We recommend partnering with the advisor’s designated non-profit to complete the nomination.

About the Nominee:

  • Their contact information
  • Broker-dealer/custodian
  • FINRA CRD# and/or professional designations
  • Your relationship to the nominee and why you’re nominating them

About the Non-Profit:

  • The contact information for a representative of the non-profit
  • Non-profit’s mission, annual operating budget, and number of full-time employees

Required Attachments:

  • Letter from the Nominee
    The nominee should tell us a compelling story about his or her service for the selected non-profit. This should be 750 words, including personal motivation, specific contributions made to the organization’s mission and greatest needs, experiences derived from serving the non-profit and community, and your impact on the non-profit and community.
  • Letter from the Non-Profit
    A representative from the non-profit should comment on the nominee’s contributions to the organization. This should be comprised of detailed examples of the nominee’s dedication, ability to motivate/inspire others, and measurable impact on the organization and those it serves.
  • Photos
    Provide 3-5 photos of the nominee in action with the non-profit and/or photos of the constituents served by the non-profit

Company Nominations

Nominations for the Corporate Philanthropy Award are accepted through the same system as advisor nominations. Only a representative of the company can submit a nomination.
