Back Cove Financial supports programs that provide basic needs to individuals and families, work to eradicate food insecurity, and develop educational and leadership opportunities for Maine youth. Back Cove proudly participates in and donates to the Sugarloaf Charity Summit and Maine’s Tri for a Cure, both of which provide access to cancer research, prevention, and care. As a small business, Back Cove Financial supports smaller mom-and-pop organizations that can get overlooked in big corporate giving campaigns. The firm’s goal is to support organizations that are close to its front lines, minimizing admin red tape and maximizing impact.

The firm hosts annual volunteer efforts, such as Maine Needs Kits during the holidays and a mac & cheese drive for the Locker Project. The Locker Project supports 40 preschools, schools, and neighborhood sites in Cumberland County. In 2022 Back Cove Financial received several months’ worth of mac & cheese donations, providing the Locker Project with enough to carry them through the summer months.
