Evan Deoul

2022 Catalyst Award Finalist

Philanthropy Tank empowers the next generation of changemakers in Palm Beach County by challenging and equipping them to implement sustainable service-driven solutions to problems affecting their community. The organization was co-founded by Evan Deoul in 2016 and since then has expanded to serve more than 300,000 individuals in the community. Philanthropy Tank has launched more than fifty-four student programs in the past six years and currently offers philanthropist/student mentoring and grant opportunities for student-led initiatives. Students have addressed issues ranging from homelessness to gun violence, environmental conservation, STEM education and migrants, to name a few.

As co-founder, Evan has been a champion for Philanthropy Tank since day one and plays an integral role in strategy, fundraising, operations and marketing. His vision and energy led the organization to launch Philanthropy Tank Baltimore in 2020 and plans are currently underway to expand in a third market next year. Evan is truly a fire for Philanthropy Tank and has made a significant impact on students, up-and-coming nonprofit leaders as well as philanthropists.

What is better than investing in our next generation and leaving an impression for others to want to do the same? I don’t think anybody ever gets there alone.
