What is the grant for and how will it benefit the community?
For the City | Building Beds provides security and safety to children that are in otherwise tumultuous situations. The $20,000 grant from Invest in Others will be used to purchase wood, mattresses and bedding for 100 beds to deliver to children in their community without a warm and comfortable bed of their own to sleep in each night.
Invest in Others brought a new awareness to our program, and recognition of some of the needs in our community that we can help facilitate and oversee.
