When you elevate a woman, you elevate a family, and being a part of that fills me with joy and hope.
The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) seeks to encourage philanthropy, foster leadership among women and support programs that enable women and children to reach their full potential. As a grantmaking organization, WFGM funds nonprofits who provide programming in support of five goal areas: 1) case management and wraparound services; 2) job skills and employment; 3) early childhood development; 4) youth development and employment; and 5) financial education and asset building. The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis is breaking systemic poverty and elevating women and children in underserved communities to help them reach their full potential.
After attending WFGM’s annual Tribute Luncheon ten years ago, Gina became involved with WFGM as a donor and volunteer. Gina joined the board of Directors in 2014 and is currently the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors. Her vast amount of financial knowledge helped guide the Foundation’s investment strategy and also helped craft WFGM’s five-year strategic plan. Gina brings energy and passion to everything she does to serve residents of Memphis and Shelby County, and is an exceptional asset to the Foundation.
