Savvy Ladies seeks to empower communities of women by providing free financial education to improve the financial wellness of women to meet their current and ongoing financial obligations and feel secure in their financial future. Each month, Savvy Ladies serves 200-250 clients in need across the U.S., pairing them for individual financial coaching sessions with pro bono CFPs and other expert professionals to address their areas of concern. To date, more than 27,000 women have received financial services from Savvy Ladies.
Stacy Francis is the founding visionary of Savvy Ladies and has served as the organization’s Board Chair since 2003. Stacy started a career in the financial services industry and founded her nonprofit organization after watching her grandmother remain in an abusive marriage as a result of her fears about financial security. Stacy is fiercely committed to addressing the gender gap in financial knowledge and self-confidence, and believes building financial knowledge is the key to women’s empowerment.
