In what capacity are you involved with this organization?

“I have worked with this group in a variety of capacities; from helping them with investments for the organization & retirement planning for the employees, to collecting items for the various events that provide dollars for the scholarships.”

What is the grant for and how will it benefit the community?

The Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation strives for empowerment through education. It supports students through mentor and leadership programs as well as scholarships. It also provides programs and socioeconomic services to benefit the Hispanic community and society in general, develops community leaders, and helps improve the standard of living of Hispanics residing in the state of Wisconsin. The $25,000 grant from Invest in Others will be used to support 50 scholarship recipients financially, which will help students achieve their dreams of higher education and give them the tools needed to become change agents and future leaders in their communities.
