Mr. Plump is an executive vice president in the New York office and team leader in the strategic accounts group. He serves as chairman of PIMCO’s global wealth management business intermediary partnership and payments committee and is a member of the ICI sales and marketing committee. He previously served as a managing director and head of fund distribution and the RIA channel for Allianz Global Investors Distributors (AGID). Mr. Plump joined AGID in 2007 as head of the national accounts team, responsible for the group managing AGID’s broker-dealer home office relationships. Before joining AGID, he was at Warburg Pincus/Credit Suisse Asset Management for 11 years and held many roles, including overseeing the retail distribution business, president of Credit Suisse Asset Management’s broker-dealer and CEO/president of the Credit Suisse Funds. Previously, Mr. Plump spent seven years managing retail financial advisors in bank broker-dealer investment programs on behalf of Citibank, Chase and Chemical Bank. He also worked in the banking services division of Massachusetts Financial Services and started his career in Citibank’s retail banking group. He currently sits on the board of Invest in Others, an organization that recognizes and honors advisors who give back in their community. He has 36 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
