Tom North

Tom North is a Region Vice President (RVP) with Ameriprise Independent Advisors, which represents over 7,800 independent advisors and generates over $4 billion in annual revenue.  As RVP, Tom leads the Franchise business in the Mid-Atlantic region, including NY Metro, NJ, Eastern PA, DE, MD, VA, DC & NC as well as supporting national strategy for the Ameriprise Franchise channel.  He is responsible for growth of assets, advisor headcount, revenue, profitability, and execution of Ameriprise’s national brand promise, supporting Franchise advisor engagement, growth and recruiting. The Mid-Atlantic Region includes 3 senior leader territories and over 1,500 financial advisors, almost $1B in revenue, and $120B+ in Assets Under Management.

Tom is a dynamic, results driven business leader with 29 years’ experience in the financial services industry. In addition to Tom’s work responsibilities, he serves as a board member for Invest in Others, an organization that recognizes and honors financial professionals and firms who give back in their community.

A 1994 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a B.A in Finance, Tom was a Monogram Club recipient and member of the Men’s Tennis Team throughout his four years with the Fighting Irish.  Today, Tom is an avid CrossFit athlete and competitor, placing in the 97^th percentile for his age category worldwide in 2023, and is a father of four amazing daughters.  Tom currently lives in Mooresville, NC with his wife Llnon and family.

Currently Tom holds industry licenses 7, 63, 24 and both NC and NJ Life and Health.  In addition, he is a CFP^®, ChFC^® and CFS^® as well as Crossfit Cf-L1 certified.
