Thomas Halloran served as an Invest in Others Board Member from April 2017 through April 2019.
Thomas Halloran is President of Voya Financial Advisors, Inc., an industry-leading wealth management organization and registered broker-dealer. Voya Financial Advisors, Inc. offers holistic financial planning and Investment advisory products and solutions to clients through a network of approximately 2,000 affiliated representatives across the country.
In his role, Tom is responsible for the overall management, strategy and growth of Voya Financial Advisors, Inc. Tom is on the Board of Directors of Voya Financial Partners, LLC. Voya Financial Advisors, Inc. and Voya Insurance Solutions. He regularly appears in mainstream and financial trade media outlets sharing insights, ideas and trends on financial topics. In addition, he is a regular contributor to the U.S. News & World Report “Smarter Investor” blog.
An industry veteran, Tom has over 30 years of experience working with financial advisors in various product, marketing and sales leadership roles. Prior to joining Voya in 2013, he served as Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he developed advisory solutions for the mass affluent customer segment. Previously, Tom held positions of increasing responsibility at Putnam Investments for 21 years.
Tom received a B.S in business administration from Worcester State University and an M.B.A. from Boston University. Tom currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation as well as Junior Achievement (JA) of Northern New England. Previously, he was an active member of the Worcester State University Foundation Board from 2000-2007. Tom holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 51, 63 and 65 licenses.
